St Charles Chess Club

Location

The St Charles Chess Club meets weekly on Thursday evenings at the Baker Community Center:

101 S 2nd Street, St Charles, IL 60174

Just down the street from the corner of Routes 64 and 31 in downtown St Charles

Meetings are held in a large space on the second floor

If you go in the main double doors, just look for the room with all the chess sets on your right

The Baker Community Center is a smoke and alcohol-free facility, we ask that you respect the facility and its guests

Meetings

Meetings are held weekly on Thursdays

We do not meet on the following holidays when they fall on a Thursday:

Occasionally, the club will have to cancel its meeting for reasons outside our control, the best way to hear about this is through our mailing list

Regular ladder games start at 7 pm, but you must register by 6:50 if you intend to play in the ladder

Registration can either be done in person or by texting Gary at (847) 895-0996

Folks usually start showing up around 6 pm for casual games before the ladder

Ladder participation is never required, you are always welcome to play casually

Feel free to show up as often or as little as you please
